Department of Health Diet and Industry Management was found in 2002, belonged to College of Health Care and Management. Currently, 55 undergraduate students and 8 post-graduate students are enrolled every year since 2010.
This is the first department combined the courses of research and development, food preparative technologies and industrial management of of health food and beverage in Taiwan, and our main goal is to incubate the student with a completed ability of health diet development, food preparation and related industrial management.
The Faculty has many professional lecturers and technicians, and are committed to give students access to a broad range of learning environments ranging from traditional lectures and practical sessions through to interactive workshops and student-led seminars. We also access to an excellent networks of various restaurants and hotels in the middles of Taiwan, which can provide an extensive range of internship opportunity. Our over-arching aim is to provide our students with every opportunity to develop a broad range of subject-specific and generic skills that will equip them to achieve their full potential in the increasingly competitive world of work.
